Associate editors Poundin' Pete Epple and Marvelous Marc Christ hit the highway on a 1,000-plus-mile road trip to the NMRA race in Commerce, Georgia, to capture the story (and photos) of Randy Seward's 1,000hp, 8-second LX. Christ drove Project Shake 'N' Bake, while Epple, broken foot and all, shot photos using his trusty Canon 30D. Upon their return, Christ loaded fresh clothes in his bag and headed to Boca Raton, Florida, to follow the build (inset photo) of our mighty Two-Valve at Blow-By Racing.
