The air-filter cover adds a finished look to the system. However, we made dyno pulls with and without the cover with no difference in power.  A high-performance tune-up...  A high-performance tune-up from Vortech Superchargers is uploaded into the computer system by way of a DiabloSport Predator hand-held tuning device, which is included in the kit.
 A minimum number of parts...  A minimum number of parts were discarded in this installation.  Rear-wheel horsepower jumped...  Rear-wheel horsepower jumped from 216.6 up to 325.4, and rear wheel torque increased from 268.7 lb-ft to a much more respectable 373.4. All runs and back-up runs showed the blower was producing 9 psi of manifold pressure. The extra power should help the heavy-weight F-150 deal with the competition.
