The new 3.7L V6 Mustangs are already pretty quick out of the gate considering they lack the two extra cylinders like its high-performance sibling, the Mustang GT. These clutch sets can increase torque anywhere from 450 ft. lbs. to beyond 1200 ft. lbs.
Introducing the Force 9.5 (700 ft. lbs.) or the 10.5 (900 ft. lbs.), these dual-disc clutch sets offer incredible street drivability with a smoother feel under a light pedal. The Force 9.5 saves 19 lbs. of weight with the Force 10.5 shedding 10 lbs. from factory weight. Ram’s 900-series clutch assemblies are for the high-output, forced-induction type racer. Single-disc clutch sets can increase torque 450, 550, and 650 ft. lbs. with Ram’s 10.5-inch sets: HDX, Powergrip, and Powergrip HD. Flywheels available come in either billet steel or aluminum. Replacing that old, heavy factory flywheel with a much lighter Ram unit, a considerable amount of weight is saved: steel 10lbs; aluminum 22lbs. For the single-disc clutch sets, the flywheel MUST also be replaced.
Three of the clutches are single-disc setups, with the other four assemblies made as dual-disc types. When combined with a new billet Ram flywheel, no modifications are necessary for the factory release mechanism. These clutch setups have been engineered for direct fitment.
