2 A Gates "green" belt was used in the six-rib configuration for its different belt compound that offers more traction. Despite using this trick, the boost still dropped off at 6,600 rpm and settled at 13.5 psi at the 7.200 rpm redline. The green belt made the output more predictable, but the engine would still peaked at just 15 and dropped off to 13.5 on every run. View Related Article
