6 It’s easier to remove and install the hat if the gas tank is unbolted and laid on top of the driveshaft. That isn’t required, but does make the swap easier. The TopHat was installed quickly, and three relays were mounted near the battery for constant duty with the key in the “On” position. The three relays can be mounted in a variety of manners and one alternate is in the trunk and out of the way. The wiring is easier to run from the trunk to the hat under the back seat.
