A few errors in this piece...

#1- Stock is 280 torque

#2- 3.15 gear is not available on the V6, it would be either 2.73 or 3.31

#3- 6850 RPM is the stock rev limit so a tuned 6500 rpm is low so ???

Thanks Ltngdrvr!

Yes, the stock torque rating is 280, not 285.

You are correct that the 3.15 is not available on the V-6 model. This is actually equipped with 2.73s, and not the optional 3.31--you'll see a correction in Department of Corrections in a coming issue.

The actual rev limit we set was 7,000, not 6,500.

Thanks for the input.

The new issue still has 3.15 gears being replaced with 4.10. Also, 260rwhp with tune and cai, headers with magna flow cat back exhaust dyno results 262rwhp? An increase of just 2hp?

Marc. please stay with this V6 line of articles and expand! I've heard that V6's like seperate pipes better than an Xpipe or an HPipe. Also I've heard that a V6 equally the displacement of a V8 will put out more Torque. Is a stick V6 with a turbo (Hellion?) in the works for an article. I'd love to see what Steeda, Saleen or Roush could do with a V6..  Road course anyone? How about a Ken Bell, Whipple blower for a V6? Lord, there is a whole world out there just begging to be explored. Get more readers if you featured V6 articles every month for a year.. betcha! Keep up the great work. I've read your magazine for years and have been a long time subscriber. Thanks again,
Kindest Regards, OMalleyman

Why doesn't SCT's tuner programming for the V6 address changing the variable cam timing. My tuner and I were surprised that this cannot be adjusted. Seems like a loss of potential horsepower increase not to allow tuning of the Ti-VCT.
