Tuned to perfection, the Kenne Bell supercharged '04 Cobra motor produced 682 hp and 594 lb-ft of torque at a peak boost reading of 16.5 psi. The Eaton was unable to provide this boost level despite a slightly smaller blower pulley (it was simply not sized to for this power level). The KB blower had plenty more to offer with further pulley changes, but maximum power was not our goal. We know the '04 Cobra motor can be made to exceed 1,000 hp, but the exercise clearly illustrates that the Cobra motor responds very well to both nitrous and blower upgrades. Hmm-what if we combined even more boost from the Kenne Bell with even more nitrous?
