The cutaway of this bottle valve shows how the nitrous is stored in the tank. When the valve is closed, nitrous is not allowed to fill the lines (fitting on the right). The fitting on the left side is a pressure relief valve, which will blow out before the bottle bursts if pressure gets too high. View Related Article
