Kenne Bell 2.8L vs. 3.6L, 15 psi
The first chassis dyno test was to compare the new 3.6L to the 2.8L on a 5.4L Shelby GT500 at 15 psi. Run at 15 psi, the 2.8L produced 643 hp and 552 lb-ft of torque. Run at the same boost level with the larger 3.6L, the 5.4L GT500 produced 674 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque. The new 3.6L supercharger improved the power output by a solid 31 hp running the same boost level.
