Ny-Trex's Triple-Threat nitrous oxide system for 2005 and newer Mustangs comes with everything you'll need short of the nitrous itself. The 10-pound high-flow bottle can be had in black (shown) or a venomous bright green.
It's a common thread among Mustang enthusiasts that going fast is fun. Letting the ponies run wild can be an exhilarating feeling, and there's no easier way to get your thrill than to bolt on a nitrous oxide injection system. Ny-Trex now makes it easier than ever to add 50-150 hp to your S197 Mustang.

Triple Threat Nitrous Oxide Injection System Teflon Tape
The number one rule when using nitrous oxide is no Teflon tape. Ny-Trex supplies a tube of Teflon paste to seal the pieces together. Teflon tape can get into the lines and has been known to stick open a solenoid or two, killing an engine in short order.
The Triple-Threat system includes the integrated solenoid block; a 10-pound nitrous bottle with a high-flow valve; braided stainless steel supply lines; quick-clamp bottle brackets; mounting and wiring hardware; all electrical components; a 15-amp microswitch; a T-Rex nozzle; and jetting for 50, 75, 125, and 150 hp.

The bottle is mounted in the trunk, and thankfully, you don't have to keep an eye out for the gas tank when drilling as it's mounted under the rear seats on the S197. Still, plan out your mounting holes and then drill carefully.
If this is your first nitrous system, you should start with the 50hp jets until you are suitably skilled at handling the instant 50hp increase in power. Then you can step up to the 75hp jets, which is where we started.

Once your bottle location is set, you can trim the carpet accordingly. Make sure you strap down the bottle with the label facing up to ensure the pickup tube in the bottle is pointed in the correct direction. We like the quick-clamp bottle brackets and liquid-filled pressure gauge.

The nitrous supply line is run through a hole in the trunk and inside the rear wheelwell. Near the shock, there is a factory bracket in which you can lay the line, then route it through this brake line bracket.
