Ny-Trex Triple Threat Nitrous Oxide Injection System - Triple-Threat Throwdown

A factory chassis ground point was used to ground the solenoids.

The nitrous controls are cleanly hidden under the console lid.

The full-throttle activation switch is mounted to the gas pedal lever using the factory bolt. One wire is routed back to the arming switch and the other to the fuel pressure safety switch.

Purging the nitrous will make sure you get a consistent hit of nitrous oxide on every pass. Here, Tony Gonyon of TunersInc is purging the system (left) prior to a dyno pull. With the 125hp jets, we saw an increase from 307 rwhp and 321 lb-ft of torque to 389 rwhp and 461 lb-ft.

The purge line is next, and Ny-Trex provides a decent length of tubing to vent the gas to the atmosphere. We routed ours to the cowl area.

Bolt the bottle back in the car and attach the nitrous supply line.

On the higher horsepower setting, we found that we needed to reduce the gap on the spark plugs. Hurricane recommends stepping down to one heat range colder on the plugs as well.
