With the motor in its proper position, it's time to start bolting on all the new stuff. First up was the straight-runner lower intake and 1-inch billet-aluminum spacer supplied by Kris Starnes Racing. Eliminating the long-runners also significantly lightened the intake, which was pretty beefy.

The upper manifold plenum and BBK throttle body were mounted on top of the spacer. As you can see, the throttle body was flipped relative to the Two-Valve Bullitt manifold position. This will place the linkage on the proper side to accept the Mach 1 throttle linkage.

The Mach 1 wiring harness was sourced from a used motor at HP Performance. It had some miles on it but cleaned up nicely and works great.

The Acceleronics fuel injectors fit in the factory injector locations, however, they must be wired to the VersaFueler injector driver for them to operate properly.
