After seeing how close the downpipe was to the spark plug wires, we decided to cover it with some high-temperature exhaust wrap. The spark plugs also got their own high-temp boot covers. Luckily, we had this stuff leftover from a previous project. We would advise doing the same given the spark plug wires' proximity to the downpipe. View Related Article
