Here, you can see the discharge port and the front part of the rotors. As with the inlet port, the discharge port is also larger and more refined. The main reason why the TVS is so efficient, however, is the rotors. Instead of the three-lobe rotors with each lobe angled at 60 degrees (or 8es like the hybrid design M122), the TVS has four lobes on each rotor angled at 160 degrees. The extra lobe and increased angle allows the air to be compressed more efficiently, while not creating as much heat as the M122. View Related Article
