Install the rod caps and torque them 19-24 ft-lb; then measure the inside diameter of the rods and compare to the measurement obtained from the crank rod journals. We ended up with 0.002 inch clearance, which was good, as is anything less than 0.003-0.0035 inch. View Related Article
