2007 Ford Mustang Nitrous Install - Chemical Dependency
|
From the throttle body to the oil pan, this Three-Valve engine is bone-stock. It's hard to believe it survives such a brutal beating of 16 psi of boost and a 125hp hit of nitrous. Without the aid of nitrous, Atkins' '07 Mustang GT laid down 478 rwhp and 446 rwtq. The car is equipped with an automatic transmission and has run low-11s with just the supercharger. Add the juice, and power shoots up to 548 rwhp and approximately 570 rwtq. The torque output was hard to peg because of complications getting the torque converter to lock up during the bottom end of the dyno pull. Areas under the curve also saw as high as 90-rwhp gains.
