Turn The new seatback cover... Turn The new seatback cover inside out and start sliding it over the seatback down to the first cross rod. Insert the old rod from the stock seat cover and secure it to the seatback with hog rings. Then, slide the cover down to the second cross rod and repeat. Slide The cover the rest of... Slide The cover the rest of the way down the seatback and then install the bolster rods through the hog rings and into the sleeves in the fabric. It helps if you use one hand to push and another to manipulate the fabric sleeve. Once you have it started, slide it in over the top of the middle cross rod and into the corner of the seatback frame until it stops. Check the material the entire length of the crease to make sure it's secured properly. If not, slide it back out and try to push the end of the rod down at the top of the seatback to get it into the proper position. Bolt the seatback on the seat bottom, attach the lumbar air line, and install the plastic seat lever covers and other hardware. For The bolster knob and lumbar... For The bolster knob and lumbar switch, just push the material against them to expose them and carefully cut the material to pop them through. The switch will need additional trimming, but the knob just needs a slice across the top and the material pushed over it. The Torx bolt that holds the seatback on also needs a small cut to expose the hole. The Rear-seat bottom is next... The Rear-seat bottom is next and the easiest. Since LRS includes new hog rings, just cut the old ones off and remove the old cover. You'll need to pry the seatbelt bezels apart to remove them from the old cover. Install the new seat cover and secure the front first, making sure the seam is at the top edge of the cushion. Secure the sides and rear portion. Flip The cushion upside down... Flip The cushion upside down and mark the holes where you need to cut for the seatbelt bezels; then just snap them in. The Rear seatbacks unbolt... The Rear seatbacks unbolt from the hinges. The Rear-seat covers are side... The Rear-seat covers are side specific, so note the widths of the side bolsters and you'll be good. The covers are secured using these plastic clips. Just pry them from the sides and remove the old cover. When installing the new covers, we needed to roll the material a few times to take up enough slack for a snug fit. Once you've done that, use a sharp knife and slice through the holes in the plastic belt to pop the supplied plastic fasteners through. Pop on the new cover. With The seats finished, we... With The seats finished, we removed the old carpet. To do this, you'll need to remove the seatbelts using a Torx bit, remove the center console and armrest, and remove the kick panels and rocker moldings. Don't skimp by not buying the rug. It makes too much of a visual impact not to do it after you've gone through the trouble of making the seats look good. This gray carpet cost $119.95 through LRS. Our Sunvisors had become brittle... Our Sunvisors had become brittle and the material started to disintegrate. If you accidentally flipped the visor down while driving, the detritus could land right on your eyeballs. The pieces from LRS cost just $59.95 for a pair and are a much safer and better-looking option. You'll need to slide the metal rods out of the old ones and work them into the new ones. Be careful, as it takes a bit of pressure to do this and you don't want to jack up the visors. A Quick beauty mod are these... A Quick beauty mod are these door handle cups from Pro-5.0 Shifters. Pro-5.0 makes all kinds of stuff for your Fox-body, and these chrome-plated metal cups are just what our door panels need. The Backseat is looking better... The Backseat is looking better than ever. You may not look back there much, but your passengers will appreciate it. The New threads are just what... The New threads are just what this Pony needed to make its interior look and perform as well as the rest of the car. Some things we didn't do but should have include ordering new seatbelt covers as well as some plastic and vinyl dye to paint the rest of the interior parts all one color. LRS has all of these parts and more.
