To mount the front of the shifter, we fabricated this bracket out of a piece of flat stock steel and drilled a couple of holes. Pretty simple stuff-just measure twice and cut once.  One major obstacle was the...  One major obstacle was the lack of a transmission wiring connection in the factory harness. As it turns out, Ford opted to leave it out on the manual cars, but we were able to pirate this one from a spare automatic harness that HP's Sean Story had stashed in his garage. Once we loomed it up, it simply connected to the transmission harness and the main harness up at the top of the engine bay. The BC Automotive guys said they would have a harness available by the time you read this.  With the Kooks headers fully...  With the Kooks headers fully assembled and bolted on, we were still able to fit the 4R70W into the car without much drama. A transmission jack is helpful here as it allows you to tilt the trans at different angles without worrying about it falling off the stand. Be sure to install the dipstick tube right before you bolt up the transmission.  The crossmember nut holders...
