AN NOS 5-pound bottle fits... AN NOS 5-pound bottle fits nicely in the door. You can see in the lower left corner of the picture the extra braided line from the nitrous kit. It is looped and resting in the door. The only parts that came out of the door are two nylon tubes inside wire loom and one 16-gauge power wire to power up the solenoids. Here are the nylon tubes as... Here are the nylon tubes as they were snaked into the cockpit. JPC technician Eric Holliday routed these babies behind the dashboard and completely out of sight. It will prevent slices in the nylon tubing. Two holes were drilled directly... Two holes were drilled directly behind the vacuum tree on the firewall. This is where the lines will enter the tree and go their separate ways to the manifold and fuel-pressure regulator. Rubber grommets were used... Rubber grommets were used here as well to protect the lines. The rubber hose at the bottom... The rubber hose at the bottom of this photo is for the windshield-wiper fluid, while the hose at the top is our hidden nitrous system. Burcham sprayed the cowl area in flat black paint to help conceal its presence. With the cowl cover in place, the nitrous tube isn't even noticeable. Two holes were drilled in... Two holes were drilled in the back of the vacuum tree. Here are the two nylon tubes... Here are the two nylon tubes as we ran them into the vacuum tree and down into their respective openings. The A/C line now delivers nitrous to the manifold, while the vacuum line (labeled B/R) sends nitrous to the fuel-pressure regulator. Next, the vacuum tree was... Next, the vacuum tree was reinstalled with the nitrous lines safely hidden. We took great care in keeping the tree's bolts in their rusty state to further enhance our cunning ways.
