These photos show why Groh prefers to select different rocker arms for different cylinder heads. The Pro Magnum rockers were nearly dead on when we mocked up the valvetrain and measured pushrod lengths. Groh looks for the roller to be close to on-center on the valve tip, and there should be very minimal sweep when he spins the camshaft. These rockers offered only 0.020 inch of sweep, which is exceptional according to Groh.

A Prime One timing chain setup was installed.

The valve covers wear the Man O' War colors. The World Product valve covers were tall enough to clear the rocker arm setup we are running. They also offer enough room to clear rocker arm girdles if we choose to run them.

Groh poses with our superstar stroker. We also dropped in an MSD distributor. In the next installment, we will show you how to modify that distributor for use with an aftermarket fuel injection system. We will use an MSD crank trigger setup.
