Pro-5.0
Pro-5.0 is synonymous with shifters for Mustangs, but the company also has some neat accessories to spruce up your Pony. For $69.99 each, Pro-5.0 will send you billet seat levers for your '05-and-newer Mustang. The levers replace the drab stock ones, while adding some brightening to your ride. For the '01-'04 group, make a phone call and get Pro-5.0's billet large cup-holder bezel. It's a direct fit-in for the stock rubber cup holder, and comes with all hardware. Finally, as one would expect from a shifter company, Pro-5.0 has a bunch of different shifter knobs to make your Mustang look good while you row through the gears. A few other offerings include the silver anniversary ($29.99), black grip, ($34.99), chrome finish ($39.99), and walnut ($49.99) knobs.
Stainless Steel Inserts
Stainless Steel Inserts has just about everything you need to improve the looks of your Mustang. For the new S197 Stang, there's a billet automatic shifter bezel that retails for $49.99, and cool looking "Mustang" embossed scuff plates for $39.99. The company also offers a billet grille overlay that will set you back $250.
Two items of interest are SSI's billet interior package and its tried-and-true stainless steel lettering inserts. The interior package comes with billet door lock pins, a trim ring, both window and mirror switch kits, a tilt steering lever, a headlight knob, an emergency brake handle, a cruise control button set, a blinker cover, air conditioning knobs, and an A/C panel insert. The package for '94-'04 Mustangs retails for $285, while the '05 package goes for $250. The company's stainless steel insert letters are available for all cars and are made of 20-gauge, mirror-finish stainless steel, and fit flush with the indented letters of your Mustang's bumper. Prices for the inserts range from $63.95 to $73.95.
Street Scene Equipment
Street Scene's hot, new accessory item for the '05 Mustang is its center-mount grille that's designed for GT owners who want to relocate the OEM foglights from the outer part of the grille to the center. The grille shell has the same texture and look of the OEM piece, and comes complete with all wiring and hardware needed to make the install a snap. The '05 grille goes for $164.95 from Street Scene, though dealer prices may vary. The company is also developing a V-6 version of the grille, so stay tuned for that product's release.
