Mod Magnuson - Magnuson Supercharger Kit

The Bosch water pump for the reservoir is controlled by electrical relay that's soldered into the fuse box and linked to factory grounds.

The pump operates whenever the engine is running.

When installing the supercharger, the following items must be disconnected and then reconnected: the TPS (throttle position sensor),

the fuel pressure regulator,

and the electronic throttle control (drive-by-wire system).

Shown here is the obvious visual difference between the stock injector (24 lb/hr) at right and the 39-lb/hr unit used on the '03-'04 Cobra. Note the number of holes in the tip.

A fuel-rail disconnect tool is required in order to-you guessed it-disconnect the fuel rail, in order to install the higher-flowing injectors. It is included in the kit.

Magnuson adds an idler bracket and pulley to increase belt contact surface area for better spin on compressor.

After adding a compressor pulley, a longer belt is required, which measures 124.7 inches to be exact.

In order to make room for the blower, the hard line for the coolant system is relocated from underneath the stock intake manifold, and replaced with a flex hose that attaches with a T-fitting at the front of the engine bay on the passenger side.

Once everything is hooked up, the engine com-puter's software must be reflashed with an SCT tuning module (provided).
