Just wanted to know if anyone has experience with replacement parts such as hoods, fenders, doors etc.. I know the companies are Sherman, Dynacorn, Goodmark and a few others. Has anyone bought anything from any of these manufacturers? How was fitment? How much modifying did you have to do to make it right? I'm hunting a Nasa/Naca Hood for my 72 Mach 1 and I'm afraid to pull the trigger.

My 97 Mustang GT (Saleen S281) makes a very noticeable "squeaking sound" from the right front wheel at the slightest turn of the steering wheel at slow speed. It sounds like something needs replacement or greasing. Any guesses on what it could be? I am sure this is a typical thing for this model, but I am only familiar with older Mustangs... I have a set of bbk under drive pullies on my 94 gt.the battery will not stay charged when i drive the car at night. It's fine during the day. would upgrading the stock alternator to a 130 amp alternator take care of my problem.

I currently have flowmaster's, but one is rattling pretty bad. I am considering the loudmouth mufflers, but am curious if they have drone. Does anyone have these? Or does anyone have performance mufflers that doesn't have drone? Any help would be most appreciated.

Guys, Hi and great forum! I have a 1991 Mustang that has the following mods: 331 DSS stroker Trick flow street heat hreads 1.6 roller rockers trick flow R series intake 70 MM throttle body & C&L 70 MM Mass air X-303 cam BBK full length headers off road x pipe flowmaster exhaust (single chamber) underdrive pulleys alum 4 core radiator elec fan 24 lb injectors which is correctly matched to the mass air msd distributor msd 6AL box these are al the engine mods that I know of. The car runs terribly rich at idle you can smell fuel at idle, and at higher rpm's it runs very lean. The car feels stronger than a stock can but no where near as strong as it should be, it has alot of seemingly fuel issues if you stay at low rpm's in town then it tends to pop and crack as if it were a carb vehicle that were "loading" up on fuel. The computer is stock to my knowledge. My use for the car is mainly to drive on weekends on cruises, and some occasional trips to the track. I am not a fan of the X-cam so I have went and purchased the trick flow stage 2 cam and an adjustible fuel pressure regualtor but I dont think this is a total fix. Any help or suggestions guys??

im looking to use astock or aluminum 5.4 2 valve block and bore it to 3.740-in using a paschal performance billet stroker crank. im going to use trickflows aluminum heads. will the trick flow track or street heat intake manifold work on a 5.4 with the 5.4 heads. also what size rds and pistons will i need and who makes qaulity pistons and rods. id like to know if the tansmission from a lightning work in my 03 gt. also do you know of another company who make a good aluminum block othrt than the expensive ford racing block.

I need info on the chain tensioners I installed 4v heads on a 4.6 2v block and neither the 2v nor the 4v tensioners align right will i need to tap a hole in the 2v block to make it work. any help would be great

I recently swapped a T56 transmission into my 05 mustang. I run a Saleen S/C with a JDM tune. After the swap the car keeps throwing a "O2 stuck lean" code and running in closed loop. I called JimIII at JDM and he identified the problem as a common one where I had miss plugged up the transmission, that I had flipped two plugs around. I've been under the car like 50 times and cannot find where he is talking about. The O2 sensors seem to be connected correctly. The speed sensor is hooked up correctly and is really the only plug that can fit there. If any one has some pictures they could post up I would greatly appreciate it. I had asked JimIII for some but they don't currently have any cars running the t56 (like the early Saleen 281E and 302E) in their shop to take a picture of.

i read this article i was hoping for atleast a decent outcome. which i was highly dissapointed. i have a 95 gts with the gt40p heads home ported and matched. i made 279 rwhp with my engine and a explorer intake with stock cam. the only upgrade here would be loosing some weight off the front.what a waste of aluminum

I have an 06 Mustang GT that when I go thru a toll booth or turn a corner and stand on it it will act as if he throttle is only half open. Depressing the accelerater several times will usually make it over come this. It cranks and runs smoothly under normal driving conditions and does not always have this problem. it is intermittent. The car is stock with no modifications. I have changed the fuel filter but the problem persists. Can the charge motion buterflies in the intake cause this problem? Any recomendations on what to check would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone know if any plug-in programmers or controllers are available for my 94 GT? Have seen many adds for newer years but nothing for my year, any help would be greatly appreciated. I was reading some earlier articles and it talked about how the new EEC IV is not mod friendly I guess. Mine is bone stock except for exhaust and do plan on adding many parts would like to do it right and not have to many problems I hope. I found my blank canvas now it's time to start painting the picture I have in mind.

I was wondering why all of the stories I read about new models of cars, that are tested, never tell readers about any problems the drivers encounter with the cars over the period of time they are tested.I recently purchased a new roush 427R, and have only put 1400 miles on it and I am already having problems with it. Whenever I take the car to the dealer for repairs Roush refuses to fix the car and says "The problems are inherant to that car and the customer has to just live with it. I can not believe I spent good money on a car that stickers for 50 grand only to be told I have to live with the problems it has. I wish magazine articles also would inform readers of "inherant problems" so that we car be warned before we spand a ton of money on a car.

I don't think so. They have different exhaust manifolds. It might not directly bolt on but you can call a Ford dealer to confirm. You may be able to use it with a kit.

The price was right and i bought a Ysi renegade supercharger kit for my 89 lx coupe. the engine is stock with the exception, 24 lbs injectors, underdrive pulley's, electric fan, msd 6al box distributor and coil, 255 lph in tank fuel pump and upgraded throttle bodie and mass air i forgot what size. the engine is out of the car as i am fixing some oil leaks and getting rid of components i don't need. is there anything i should add or do to my setup to ready it for the blower? i plan on long block from coast high performance within the next two years so i dont want to buy heads for the stock engine i have now. for the rest of the car a super comp c4 is in the works and the rear end has 4.10 gears 31 spline axles, girdle and a detroit locker. Any insight or advice on my project would be welcomed

Changing heads on A 96 stang, How difficult is this project. i never had too degree two cams wats the difficulty in this? I've built engines quit A few times and degreed the cam,the new twisted wedge heads are getting my attention, the 38cc chambers raise the compression up to 10.4.1 on A stock block, wat if i wanted to add boost later? how would this really affect me??? :o Guess no one has any information on this job.
