11 Once we installed the Meziere unit, we ran into some issues. The FRPP supercharger kit adds some extra brackets and a new idler pulley next to the water pump. The tapered body of the stock pump clears the extra idler, but when you install the Meziere pump, the pulley hits the body of the pump. As we looked into the problem, we found it was easily remedied by replacing the 3-inch pulley from the FRPP supercharger kit with a smaller 2.75-inch version (Gates PN 36101) that clears the pump with no issues.
