Since we were going to install the rear seat delete permanently, we thought this would be a good time to remove the faded, purple window tint.

Package tray in place, we began to test-fit the rear-seat delete (PN FRSD-C; $320). Available in black, white, blue, or red, this rear-seat delete is available for coupe or hatch. Like the package tray, it's trim-to-fit and comes with rivets for installation.

To fit the panels, we used sheetmetal screws to mount them temporarily.

We then drilled holes to screw the panels to each other while we finished fitting everything.

Next we marked the panels that needed to be trimmed with a permanent marker and trimmed it with tin snips.

We then used the mounting tabs included in the kit to support the back panels to the floor.

Once everything was held in place, we measured the panels and marked where the rivets would go. We then used a center punch to make drilling easier and neater.

It helps to use a piece of masking tape to make your row of rivets straight.

Then we trimmed the dash panel to clear the rollcage and installed it.
