MONEY MONEY MONEY!
We're keeping tabs on how much money we put into Project MILF. After all, we can't blow our whole paycheck on car parts. Keep in mind that this tally includes prices for parts only. The original cost of the car and labor rates are not included as there are variables to both figures.

Clocking In
After our last foray to Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, we were able to discern how much gears and a tune woke up Project MILF. This time around, we wanted to see what FRPP's Big-Boost kit would do for our beloved project car. In the following chart, the first number is the difference from the previous modification, while the second number is the difference from the baseline. Mission accomplished!
| Baseline Run | 13.529/100.11 | | |
| MODIFICATION | BEST ET/MPH | ET DIFFERENCE | MPH DIFFERENCE |

As you can see, the heat exchanger...

As you can see, the heat exchanger is mounted nicely in front of the radiator. Once we put the bumper back on, you couldn't see the exchanger unless you got down low and looked underneath. With this mounting point, Project MILF still looks like a regular Legend Lime Mustang GT.

We filled the intercooler...

We filled the intercooler reservoir with Motorcraft engine coolant. We burped the system by filling the reservoir, turning the key on, and activating the pump. With the pump running and the system flowing, we checked for leaks-of which there was none-and topped off the reservoir as needed. It took close to a gallon of coolant plus some water to fill the system.

With the installation nearly...

With the installation nearly complete, we started to button everything up, beginning with reinstalling the air-inlet system and hooking up all the vacuum lines and connections for the TPS, MAF, and Drive-By-Wire. We then put on the smaller 3.375-inch blower pulley.

Since we were now running...

Since we were now running a smaller blower pulley, we had to install the Big-Boost kit's larger idler pulley to take up the newfound slack in the blower belt. You can clearly see the size difference between the new pulley (left) and the old idler pulley (right). Once we put on the new pulley, we reinstalled the belt and adjusted it until it was tight.

With all of the work done...

With all of the work done underhood, we moved to the interior of the car and installed the supplied dual fuel pumps and wiring harness. According to Jim D'Amore of JDM, the FRPP-supplied fuel kit is good for 700 rwhp. Once we put in the fuel system, D'Amore revamped the tune for the car and uploaded it using our SCT programmer.

On the dyno, D'Amore fiddled...

On the dyno, D'Amore fiddled with the tune before finally settling on a combination that rung up 439.84 rwhp and 422.13 rwtq. This was an increase of 55.36 hp and 48.43 lb-ft of torque from our previous installation. Even more impressive is that, to date, we have gotten Project MILF from 251.1 rwhp and 265.0 rwtq stock to the aforementioned power numbers. That's an increase in horsepower and torque of 188.74 and 157.13, respectively.

RIGHT: With our Big-Boost...

RIGHT: With our Big-Boost kit, Project MILF made some big-time power. The results were most notable on the dragstrip, where the 3,850-pound S197 clicked off an 11.54 at 120 mph. The intercooler, combined with the smaller blower pulley's added boost, let our grocery-getter pick up 5.5 mph from our last installment, while lowering elapsed times another 0.650 second. Overall, Project MILF had shed almost 2 seconds off of her elapsed times while picking up more than 20 mph.
