Want more woof in your subwoofer? Need a deeper dive in your subs? Then check out this Sony Xplod system. It's a quick swap with the stock speakers, with just a few minor mods. And for good measure, Syndicate added a couple of monitors to the headrests. So let's pump up the volume and go cruisin'!
Remove the console cover and...
Remove the console cover and faceplate for the head unit.
Pull out the stock speakers...
Pull out the stock speakers from the trunk.
Replace the stock subs with...
Replace the stock subs with the 1,200-watt Xplod units.
To handle the increased output,...
To handle the increased output, add some Dynamat insulation to the back of the speaker box and also in the trunk area.
Hook up the Xplod amp and...
Hook up the Xplod amp and install it in the trunk. Route the wiring through the rocker panels and back seat to the trunk.
Reinstall the subwoofer box...
Reinstall the subwoofer box in the trunk.
