1996 Ford Mustang Suspension Upgrade Greasing The Rear Control Arms

3 While some aftermarket four-link systems attempt to eliminate deflection with the installation of hard urethane bushings on both pivot points, the fact that the control arms must be allowed to move both up and down and sideways often creates more problems than it cures. The combination of Teflon-lined spherical bearings (on the axle end) and urethane bushings (on the chassis end) allow the Maximum Motorsports control arms improve traction and reduce wheelhop by allowing controlled angular motion while minimizing unwanted deflection. Grease was applied to every urethane bushing prior to assembly.
