On the dyno, the Hooker headers and X-pipe upped the peak power output of our project vehicle by 14 hp and 18 lb-ft of torque, bringing our new total to 241 hp and 305 lb-ft. Next up will be a set of ported cylinder heads and a larger set of cams, but we may have to sidestep a bit and install a new clutch system before continuing in our quest for more power.
