1996 Ford Mustang GT Maintenance ASNU Injector Flow Machine
First on the list were the factory fuel injectors. The injectors were first flow tested and then treated to an ultrasonic cleaning on this ASNU injector machine. Injector cleaning is usually only necessary if the engine (or injectors) sits for an extended period of time. Ours were actually still in good shape with no leakage or unusual flow patterns.

1996 Ford Mustang GT Maintenance Accufab Fuel Pressure Regulator
While we had the injectors and rail off, we installed this Accufab adjustable fuel-pressure regulator. 1996 Ford Mustang GT Maintenance Cracked Belt
When installing the BBK underdrive pulleys in Part 1 of RSC, we noticed a few surface cracks in the stock serpentine belt. Though we have seen them last for another couple of years in this condition, we felt better installing a new one (Dayco PN 5060975). The last thing we wanted to do was pitch a belt during dyno testing.

While we were on the maintenance kick, we also took the liberty of replacing the spark plugs. We installed a set of Denso IQ16 plugs to replace the well-worn factory pieces. At this power level it is unnecessary to step up to such an expensive plug, but the Densos have always worked well in the past, and we have big power plans for Project RSC in the future.
