With the bellhousing installed, you can insert the clutch fork (now wearing the new throw-out bearing) and clip it onto the pivot ball. Reconnecting the clutch cable at this point can aid in getting the transmission to go in easily. Even when using the alignment tool, the tranny can sometimes put up a fight. Depressing the clutch pedal can make it easier for the tranny to align itself and slide into place. View Related Article
