Five-liter magnate Jimmy LaRocca and his crew of technicians have the handle on ProCharger tune-ups, so we looked to them to tweak our pony for power. The air inlet tube is a flexible piece that bends through the factory provided opening in the fender apron. It then connects to the provided elbow and K&N filter. We temporarily removed the ignition solenoid for easier access.

This is the elbow in the driver side fender that connects the head unit to the filter. The small fitting is for the surge valve. The surge valve is an important part, as it vents pressure when the throttle is suddenly closed. This protects the head unit.

Next up is the intercooler. As mentioned in the text, we had originally planned to use a front mount unit, but opted later for the horizontal mount piece. Included is this air scoop, which must be drilled to fit the intercooler brackets. These are secured together.
