 Don't unbolt the electric...  Don't unbolt the electric throttle motor carelessly; take your time doing it. |  There is a spring lurking...  There is a spring lurking underneath the motor cover. |  Pop off the round cover from...  Pop off the round cover from the plate. |
 Place the spring on the gear...  Place the spring on the gear of the new throttle body. |  Bolt the cover back on using...  Bolt the cover back on using a sequence similar to bolting on wheels. Crisscross your pattern to get an equal clamp with each torque screw. Don't gorilla tighten the screws. Also be sure to keep constant pressure on the motor cover as you tighten it in place. |  Whipple supplies a special...  Whipple supplies a special tool to lock the spring in place. |

The C&L intake looks right at home under the hood and with a 31 rwhp gain (with larger throttle body) it fits right at home in our book of performance. |  Turn the spring-end counterclockwise...  Turn the spring-end counterclockwise until the smaller tab on the spring-end is in the small section of the motor cover. This is a critical step to make sure the throttle blade functions properly. |  Put your hand in the throttle...  Put your hand in the throttle body to make sure the gasket is lined up properly as you bolt the unit onto the intake. |
