James D'Amore III put some Saleen bodywork on his '06 Mustang GT, and then threw everything in the JDM Engineering parts bay at the S197. The result? A naturally aspirated 302ci stroker Three-Valve that runs deep into the 11-second zone while still serving duty as his daily driver. D'Amore's yellow banana hit the pages of MM&FF in the March '08 issue, and has hit a bunch of racetracks since then as well. Any Three-Valve that runs that quick definitely deserves at least an honorable mention. View Related Article
