Luscious Ladies And Their Strapping Stangs
Kitty Morris Indian Trail, NC '06 Roush Stage 1 Mustang Kitty Morris owned a yellow V-6 Mustang, and while out cruising one day, she saw a Yellow Roush Stage 1 that she just had to have. After owning the car for a few weeks, she was T-boned in the passenger side. Kitty decided to give the car a complete makeover, resulting in a repaired body and a bunch of go-fast goodies, including a ProCharger P1-SC1 blower, JBA long-tube headers, an exhaust, and a host of other parts. | Catie Crawford Denville, NJ '00 Mustang With her dad and her grandpa both owning Mustangs, it was only natural that Catie Crawford ended up behind the wheel of a Pony of her own. She bought the car when she was in high school, but she couldn't stand the blemishes on the factory paint job. After wet-sanding the body panels, she had it refinished by a family friend, air-brushed the sail panels, and stenciled the rear spoiler. Catie plans on keeping the Mustang semistock and finding an early fastback to restore. | Kendra Combs Las Vegas, NV '86 Mustang GT Kendra Combs has modified and improved just about all the areas of her '86 GT. A Viper Blue Metallic hue combines with numerous body components to enhance the visual image, while a BBK cold-air kit, Cobra upper and lower intakes, and Hedman long-tube headers mated to a Flowtech H-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers improve the 302's power output. Black Bullitt rims and a thundering stereo system complete the car. | Clarissa Craig Stoughton, MA '01 Mustang GT Convertible Clarissa Craig may spend her time teaching kindergartners, but when she's done, she and her '02 drop-top GT run with the big boys (and girls). Clarissa has thrown on a full Saleen body kit, as well as 19-inch Zenetti rims. A set of pulleys, a cold-air kit, aluminum heads, and a 150 shot of the sauce combine with an aftermarket exhaust to increase the Two-Valve's power output. | April Burris Mount Pleasant, NC '93 Mustang April Burris has owned her Mustang since way back when and spent the last few years refining it into her own prized Pony. Her Mustang was originally a Florida State Highway Patrol car, but it has since been resprayed and had numerous body components installed. Other goodies include a Flowmaster exhaust and a five-speed conversion. Future plans call for a single- or twin-turbocharged 347 stroker. | |
Kelly Habecker Washington Boro, PA '99 Mustang Kelly Habecker bought her '99 Stang when she was 19, and while it was bone-stock then, it certainly isn't now. She had a custom dual exhaust put on, along with a billet grille, 17-inch GT rims, a cold-air intake, and a Cobra R hood. | Liza McGill Los Angeles, CA '04 Mustang Mach 1 Liza McGill has hit up her '04 Mach 1 with a few parts and pieces to improve the Four-Valve's form and function. She swapped the Mach 1 rims for a set of American Racing Torq-Thrust IIs, then bolted on a Vortech supercharger that works in conjunction with a JBA after-cat exhaust system. A set of 3.73 gears and a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter finish things off. | Jennifer Rogers Katy, TX '04 Mustang GT Jennifer Rogers got her '04 GT while Christmas shopping that year. (Why buy for the family when you can buy for yourself?) The SN-95 had its front bumper replaced with a Cobra-style piece shortly after purchase and now showcases Flowmaster mufflers, a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, a K&N filter, and a Bullitt-style fuel door. Further mods include 4.10 gears and a custom tune. | Shannan Fogus Michigan City, IN '97 Mustang GT Shannan Fogus' '97 GT is the most notable of girl colors-Deep Violet Metallic-but she made sure this "girlie" car had some teeth to it. A set of 3.73 gears, an x pipe system, a Flowmaster after-cat exhaust system, a Jet chip, and a cold-air intake keep the early-model 4.6L mod motor breathing deeply and exhaling easily. Cobra R rims, a billet grille, and lowering springs slam the car to the ground and improve the looks of the Stang. | Michelle Gordon Portland, OR '03 Mustang Cobra Michelle Gordon's Terminator is one wild Cobra. Wasting no time jacking up the power level of the supercharged Four-Valve mod mill, Michelle added a DiabloSport tune, an Accufab throttle body and plenum, a BBK cold-air kit, a Flowmaster exhaust, and a set of blower pulleys. Numerous body components were slapped on, and when all was said and done, this looker shot out 472 rwhp in style. | Pat Hanson Sun Prairie, WI '04 Mustang GT Pat Hanson's '04 GT is her daily driver, which is impressive considering the cold and brutal Wisconsin winters. While the only current modification is a K&N filter, future mods include a full exhaust system, gears, and possibly a blower of some sorts. |
