Luscious Ladies And Their Strapping Stangs
Louise Komorek Collinsville, IL '07 Roush Mustang Stage 1 Louise Komorek received her Roush Mustang from her husband upon graduation, and hasn't looked back since taking hold of the pink slip. The Roush has been upgraded with a cold-air kit, upper and lower control arms, 3.90 gears, a Zex nitrous kit, and a host of other goodies. Louise's Roush has run a best of a 13.35 at 107 mph while on the jug. | Kayla Karker Eau Claire, WI '89 Mustang Kayla Karker got her Stang on her 16th birthday and has proceeded to make sure it whoops all the boys in high school. A new paint job gives the factory body a pink-and-white flame job on top of a black respray, while a rebuilt engine and new rearend gears ensures Kayla's Fox-body doesn't get caught slow. Her other car is a '65 Ford Falcon that she races in local bracket-racing action. | Laurie Litke Bristol, CT '04 Mustang Laurie Litke's Torch Red V-6 Stang can be seen a mile away. This is due to the addition of the neon interior lighting that goes quite well with the bright factory-red hue. Future modifications include a dual exhaust system, chrome rims, and a blower. | Margie Sproat Havertown, PA '00 Mustang GT Margie Sproat decided that instead of heading into retirement kicking and screaming, she'd go into it romping and stomping. With that in mind, she rolled out a wad of cash and bought her '00 GT brand-new. Once the SN-95 was home, she threw on a couple of engine mods before hitting up the Stang with some bling. Oh, and for the record, things didn't stop with Margie's GT. She bought a Roush Stage 2 the following year. | Alice Becker Wernersville, PA '01 Mustang GT Convertible and '07 Mustang GT Alice Becker started out small with an '88 Thunderbird Super Coupe. Since then, the 'Bird has flown the coop, making way for a pair of Ponies. The first Mustang to grace Alice's life was her '01 GT, which sports a Flowmaster exhaust and Euro lights up front and out back. As for the newest horse in the stable, the '07 GT showcases a killer paint scheme that goes along with the aftermarket wheels and body components. For more go, Alice threw on Ford Racing Performance Parts' Power Pack. | Lisa Falzone Ft. Myers, FL '99 Mustang Cobra Lisa Falzone picked up her Cobra after selling her Vortech-blown '89 Mustang. The car came with a Cobra R hood, 3.73 gears, an aluminum driveshaft, a K&N cold-air intake kit, and a thumping Flowmaster exhaust system. Future plans for this snake include a Vortech blower and a custom paint job. | Laura Dix Jacksonville, FL '05 Mustang GT While Laura Dix might not have a modded engine under the hood, her V-8 S197 sure has a lot of visual improvements. After putting on a cold-air intake and Flowmaster mufflers to improve the Pony's gallop, Laura threw on a full complement of CDC body components, such as a chin spoiler, rear and quarter-window louvers, and more. Add to that the sequential taillights, a Cervini's hood, and Shelby Razor wheels, and you can see why her GT has won numerous car-show awards. | Sandra Matthews New Bern, NC '07 Mustang GT/CS Ford released the GT/CS to honor the California Special Mustangs of the late-'60s, and Sandra Matthews just had to have one. Once she picked up her GT/CS, she got a real GT/CS dash script from a '68 model before hitting up the rest of the car with a 3dCarbon hoodscoop, quarter-window scoops, and a rear blackout panel. Giving the Mustang some growl is the SLP Loudmouth mufflers. Future mods call for a cold-air kit, drop springs, and more exterior goodies. | Sherrill, Sarah, and Linda Dunsmuir Forked River, NJ and Flemington, NJ '04 Mustang (Linda), '05 Mustang (Sarah), and '07 Mustang GT/CS (Sherrill) Talk about a full stable-the Dunsmuir girls certainly have that one covered. Linda's '04 Mustang, Sarah's '05 Stang, and Sherrill's '07 GT/CS are all stock, though they fit quite nicely with the Cobra and Shelby GT500 that the men of the family also have in the garage. With all of these Ponies in New Jersey, who needs the Kentucky Derby? | Linda Stacey Katy, TX '06 Shelby GT500 and '06 Roush Mustang Evidently, one special Pony wasn't enough for Linda Stacey. She picked up the '06 Roush first, equipping it with FR500 rims, a 1,000-watt stereo system, and other custom pieces. The GT500 has its blown 5.4-liter juiced up with a Bassani exhaust system with x pipe system, a JLT carbon-fiber intake, and an SCT XCalibrator tune. | Lori Kennelty Camarillo, CA '86 Mustang GT T-top They usually say that Italian guys drive black IROC Zs with T-tops. So what do Italian ladies cruise in? A Mustang GT with T-tops, of course. Lori Kennelty bought her '86 from a family friend and plans on turning it into a slightly modified street racer down the road. For the time being, she's happy cruising with the tops off along the roads of sunny California. | Sharon Holman Chicago, IL '06 Mustang GT ConvertibleSharon Holman couldn't wait until she got her '06 drop-top GT. Once the Vista Blue Pony was in her possession, she started making it her own. Now displaying a flaming Pony grille emblem and sporty gold stripes, Sharon's convertible will soon feature an exhaust system, a cold-air intake, a throttle body, a lightbar, and a ducktail spoiler. | Cindy Barnes Dallas, PA '03 Mustang Cobra Cindy Barnes' '03 Terminator is the fifth Mustang-and the second Cobra-she has owned. Once you go snake, that's all you'll take, we guess. The supercharged SVT special is stock except for the K&N filter, the tinted windows, and the billet grille. Future changes to the blown Stang include an SLP Loudmouth exhaust system and a pulley kit. | Sarah Long Rocky Mountain, VA '01 Saleen S281 Sarah Long didn't hold anything back when she got into the Mustang craze. She went full-speed ahead when she picked up her '01 Saleen S281. The supercharged SN-95 now showcases a ported blower, upgraded pulleys, a cold-air kit, headers, and a full exhaust. | Jessica Sinn Knox, IN '02 Mustang GT After previously owning a '96 V-6 Mustang, Jessica Sinn knew it would be a sin (couldn't resist!) if she got her next Mustang without a 4.6L mod motor. She finally found the perfect car when she bought her '02 GT and has since added a BBK cold-air kit. Future plans call for a shiny new set of rims. |
