Winner
Admit it, you love vintage Mustangs. The only people who didn't love the old-school look at Epping were those who got gunned down by Sean Hyland Motorsports Mod Comp winner Danny Towe. Towe slipped past Dana Lombardozzi for the hardware.		 Ford Dynojet
Those who cruised into New England Dragway had a chance to dyno their car on-site, thanks to DynoJet.		 Ford 89 Mustang
The MM&FF/Tremec True Street Editor's Choice award went to this gorgeous '89 Mustang GT proudly owned by Eric Bentz. The exterior of the Fox-body showcases a Steeda body kit covered in Viper Blue and a three-stage white/silver/pearl clearcoat. Under the hood is a warmed-over 302 with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, 42-pound injectors, and a Vortech supercharger.
Ford Speed
Stephen Harvey saved the best for last in Tremec True Street when he ripped off a 10.52. The mid-10-second pass was the quickest run by a True Street car at Epping.		 Ford Robert Hathway
Robert Hathway and his '90 Lincoln LSC competed in True Street and finished in the top 25. The Lincoln is motivated by a 347 stroker backed by a Tremec 3550 trans mated to a stock rear spinning 4.30 cogs. The combo was good enough to propel the Rochester, Massachusetts, resident to 24th Place on the list, with a 13.03 average.		 Ford Thomas Diliberto
Thomas Diliberto made the cruise to Epping from Rockingham, Vermont, and rode his Cobra drop-top to a 21st-Place finish in Tremec True Street. Even though he owns seven different cars, Diliberto chose to race his '03 Terminator that has been woken up by a Steeda tune. His best pass of the weekend came in the first session when he lit up the boards to a tune of 12.56 seconds.
Ford Nick Traiforos
Nick Traiforos ripped off a 12.24 best in True Street competition. The yellow Mustang GT ended up in 14th Place with a 12.30-second average. Low-12-second times, bright yellow paint, and the ever-cool Weld Draglite wheels helped the Pony catch the camera's eye.		 Ford Love
Having a love of Mustangs is great, but having a girlfriend who shares that love is the best thing in the world. Just ask James Devereux and Kathy O'Brien. The pair of lovebirds made the trek to Epping from Wellesley, Massachusetts, in his '95 Mustang GT. The black beauty has its 302 topped with a Trick Flow Specialties top-end kit, and the rear features 4.10 gears. Unfortunately, Devereux missed the Top 25 by three spots with his 13.14 average.
