Four layers of two-stage BASF Diamont Purple basecoat were first applied over the freshly massaged flanks. Next, Jason Kasper of Kasper's Korner artfully tattooed the purple skin with the artful and dizzying array of lightning bolts and multilayered paint effects that took dozens of painstaking hours to complete. Several layers of clear topcoat were finally applied to seal everything under a glossy, hard finish.
With just 38,000 miles on the clock, the original black cloth interior is in perfect condition. But Jerry didn't come this far to let the home cabin be left to the Martha Stewart yawn factory. The front seats are from an '83 GT and are wrapped in custom black cloth upholstery with purple piping. The rear seat has been long-removed, and in its place is a custom 1,100-watt stereo system featuring Pioneer electronics. Everything is neatly covered in black cloth and carpeting with purple accents for a well-finished look. Grimace would be proud to ride shotgun with Barney at the Billet Specialties wheel. Lastly, a B&M Hammer shifter manages an Art Carr AOD with a 3,200-stall converter.
With its old-school flavor and dash of new-school tech, we can rest easy knowing this Mustang thing isn't dying anytime soon. As a matter of fact, we're waiting for someone with as much cojones as Jerry to build a car in just the same spirit as this GT-but as a Fairmont coupe. We'd love to see it. We'll even lay off the Joker, Grape Ape, and Share Bear references.

Loud and proud! With its massive bugcatcher and 6-71 blower towering above, this wild '93 GT is not ashamed to show what it's made of. As if that wasn't enough, check out the wild purple paint with its electrifying attraction-Ben Franklin wouldn't know what to do with this much lightning!

Starting with an already-beautiful black cloth interior, Jerry added a set of custom-upholstered buckets from an '83 GT. A Billet Specialties steering wheel provides a secure and comfortable grip, while Auto Meter Phantom gauges keep tabs on the engine speed, boost, and voltage.
