This year's SEMA Show promises to be the best one yet

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is the chief trade event for aftermarket automotive products in the world. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in early November every year, the event draws over 60,000 buyers, both foreign and domestic. The Show is split up into twelve sections from electronics, to wheels, and our favorite, racing and performance.

The largest of the sections, and located in the central halls, the racing and performance section houses all of the go-fast goodies that we Mustang lovers demand. Companies like Eagle Specialty Products, Trick Flow Specialties, and Aeromotive call this section home. But the fun doesn't end there.

One could spend an entire day in the wheels and accessories section, and nevermind getting lost in the tools and equipment section. There are even entire sections devoted to restoration parts, collision and refinishing, trucks, and even car care. The event is open to exhibitors from 9 to 5 for four days, and it's nearly impossible to see the entire show in that amount of time.

This year, nearly 1,500 new products were featured in the New Products Showcase. Other than parts on display, the SEMA Show offers attendees educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities, and the looming backdrop of fabulous Las Vegas, which can easily consume the other 16 hours of each of the four days.

More than providing a stage for manufacturers, retailers, and shop owners to meet and mingle, SEMA works behind the scenes to oppose laws that could potentially kill our hobby, as well as cataloging a library of products in an online database. For 46 years, SEMA has been the voice for everything aftermarket in the automotive industry.

As always, we were there to catch the latest parts in the late-model Mustang and Ford world. Below are just a few of the many products and other goodies that tickled our fancy.
