With 25 years of building trend-setting street, track, and race performance Ford vehicles, Kenny Brown is celebrating the way any racer would--at a race track. To officially relaunch the Kenny Brown Performance brand back into the innovation-hungry Mustang and Ford aftermarket, Brown and his team will be conducting a special two-day open track and performance driving school at Putnam Park Road Course, September 9-11, 2011. The event is open to all driving enthusiasts, makes and models of cars and especially, Kenny Brown-prepared vehicles from the past 25 years.
However, this event is slated to be much more than a typical two-day performance driving school. To celebrate his company's return to the market, Brown has invited numerous special guests, VIP, and media to help celebrate the occasion in style and at speed.
Wanted: Kenny Brown Performance Vehicles
As an integral part of the event, Kenny Brown Performance is actively seeking current owners of any and all Kenny Brown-prepared vehicles to attend this event, either as an on-track or car show participant. "Over the past 25 years, we have a number of Kenny Brown Performance Mustangs, Crown Victorias, Mercury Marauders, Explorers, Taurus SHOs and more," notes Brown. "For this event, our goal is to have the largest single gathering of these cars and their owners. What better way to celebrate the relaunch of Kenny Brown brand than with the people and cars who helped get us there originally."
The Event: Sept 9-11, 2011
The event itself will start on Friday late afternoon with a BBQ dinner and social time with your fellow drivers and Kenny Brown Performance staff. A two-day performance driving school will be conducted by Track Guys Performance Driving Events, with a special "Tech Talk" hosted by Kenny Brown himself. Here is YOUR chance to drive with and learn from the master of late-model Mustang performance.
Never been on track before? Fear not: the Track Guys program of classroom and dedicated in-car instructors is designed to help not only the first-time driver, but also students of both intermediate and advanced skills as well. Cost for the two-day driving school and open track is $350 and spectators are free.
The event will also feature a multi-class car show that is open to all makes and models, but will feature some very special Kenny Brown serialized vehicles. Car show entry fee is $25 and will include an event t-shirt and the chance to win one of the special 25th Anniversary trophies.
However, the highlight of the event could very well be the Saturday night banquet dinner. Participants can join Kenny as he and celebrity guests rock the house with a fun-filled dinner featuring the adventures (and misadventures) of 25 years of building the best-in-class cars. The Saturday night banquet will be held at the historic Inn at DePauw and space is limited, so do not wait to register for this or any part of the event.
