John MacDonald's day was cut short after mechanical issues sidelined the team. MacDonald did all he could to keep his championship hopes alive. After breaking a cylinder head early in the weekend, MacDonald's team drove from Bowling Green to their shop in Michigan to fix the casting. The crew made it back to Kentucky in time for eliminations, but an issue reared its ugly head and MacDonald's weekend was through. View Related Article
