Throwing his warranty to the wind, Granger, Indiana's Randy Soper worked his brand-new Shelby GT500 hard in True Street. His effort paid off as the car ran 11.94, 11.99, and 12.15 for the low-12-second prize. The GT500 has a few bolt-ons like a cold-air kit, a pulley, a Bassani exhaust, and no doubt a bit more horsepower than when it left the factory.
