2007 NMRA Keystone Ford Nationals - Worlds Collide
Jarrett Halfacre got crossed up in the lights during test and tune after running 7.45 at 195 mph. Unfortunately, wind disrupted the parachute and dragged the car into the wall. The body scuffed the concrete barrier and blew out the windshield. Nevertheless, they banged out the body, replaced the windshield, and came back to qualify number one with a 7.45 at 195 mph. Halfacre lost to John Urist on a hole shot during the semifinal round of eliminations, 7.51 to Urist's 7.52.
