World Ford Challenge - Racing To The Power Of X
|
Pro Mod 5.0 veteran Doug Mangrum has the distinct honor of winning the WFC 1 title in 1998. Back then, he ran low-eights with a nitrous-powered '88 Mustang GT. He continues to battle the upper echelon of Ford heads-up drag racing. Mangrum still runs Keith Craft-built race engines and these days relies on a ProCharger F3R blower instead of nitrous. The carbon-fiber '02 Mustang has a tube chassis frame built by Racecraft. Tire shake led to a first-round loss for Mangrum. View Related Article
