It might have been Chris Matters' (far lane) first time in competition, but he showed no chinks in the armor as he drove his '06 Saleen to victory over Michael Sulzbach in the final of Ultra Stang.

Defending Street Outlaw champion Conrad Scarry had a decent weekend behind the wheel of his '04 Mustang. After qualifying in the number-four slot, Scarry unloaded a 0.007 reaction time to beat Dennis Lugo on a holeshot in Round 1. His 7.17-second run held off the 7.06 effort of Lugo. Unfortunately, Scarry's car lost fire in his semifinal bout with Tim Lynch.

Don Justus earned the top spot in Tough Truck qualifying, but the defending class champ went out in Round 2.

Tim Lynch gave everyone a scare in his semifinal-round win over Conrad Scarry. Lynch's engine kicked the rods out at the top end of the track, spewing oil all over the rear tires and the headers. Lynch was able to keep the car under control and put out the ensuing fire, but he was unable to make the call for the final round.
