His 12.511-second pass on the Street Stang 12.50 index was an eyelash quicker than Joe Warwas' 12.513 effort.  Winner Dan Saitz floored...  Winner Dan Saitz floored everyone in the Probe Industries Pro category as his twin-turbocharged Ford Probe lit the scoreboards to the tune of 6.59 seconds. The pass was seven-hundredths of a second quicker than David Schorr's 6.66-second run, giving Saitz the top spot at Ennis.  Winner Tim Lynch put Steve...  Winner Tim Lynch put Steve Petty's new 600-plus cubic-inch Ford powerplant to good use, slamming his Mustang through the lights in 7.11 seconds for the top spot in ProCharger Street Outlaw. The fat-block Ford is driven by a pair of hairdryers and has gone well into the 6-second zone at other venues.  Charles Mason had a bracket...  Charles Mason had a bracket car for the MM&FF/Tremec True Street competition. After opening the competition with a 12.23, he came back with a 12.22 before ending with a 12.32. The ensuing 12.26-second average placed his S197 Mustang GT in 13th Place.  Jeremy Gothia missed the MM&FF/Tremec...  Jeremy Gothia missed the MM&FF/Tremec True Street Top 25 by a few spots in his ultra-clean and bone-stock-appearing LX 5.0 Stang. Gothia lived in the 15-second zone with his Fox-body at Ennis, and found himself in 29th Place at the end of the day.  Winner Hale Camerman distanced...  Winner Hale Camerman distanced himself from the rest of the competitors in BFGoodrich Drag Radial. Camerman's 8.03 was eight-tenths of a second quicker than number-two qualifier Crede Young's 8.80-second effort.  David Schorr and his slick-looking...  David Schorr and his slick-looking Escort blasted to a 6.66-second/210 mph jaunt down the Texas Motorplex quarter-mile to wind up number two on the qualifying sheet in Probe Industries Pro.  Jimmy Russell used a low e.t....  Jimmy Russell used a low e.t. of 9.52 seconds to aid his efforts in winning the MM&FF/Tremec True Street category in Ennis. Russell's Fox-body means business, as is evident by its sizable rear meats and parachute. After opening with this 9.62-second pass, he dropped a tenth of a second in elapsed time on his second effort.
