The naturally aspirated Tremec Pure Street class featured a tough 13-car field of which Lexington, Illinois' Ron Anderson sat on top. Competitors came and went, and eventually Brad Meadows gave Anderson the final-round victory with a red light. Anderson also tied up the NMRA/NMCA showdown with a win over former Stock Eliminator racer turned Mean Street runner Jeff Swanson and his '93 Cobra clone.
