His 438-cube '00 Mustang qualified number one with a 7.80, and he made quick work of the field with a 7.81, a 7.83, and a 7.87. With over a 100-point lead, Wilson told us he plans to take off the weekend in Norwalk and hand the keys over to Gina Munden, who currently leads the Drag Radial championship race.
